Anticipation | Hartland Maternity Photographer

Megan, Peter and I had such an enjoyable evening exploring the park and creating such beautiful maternity photos! I remember this time when I was pregnant with my first so clearly. The anticipation over your littles ones arrival is palpable in everything you do. From getting the nursery set to folding countless teeny tiny little onesies, you can’t help but daydream about what the future is going to hold for your family!

We had the most absolute beautiful night for Megan and Peter’s maternity photos. The sunlight was gorgeous! I love when Mother Nature agrees with my photography plans!

I had the chance to ask Megan a few questions about being pregnant, the anticipation of waiting for her little one, and her maternity session with ARP. Keep scrolling to read her answers and see more of her beautiful photos.

What has been the best part about being pregnant?

The best part about being pregnant is knowing that my fiancé Peter and I created this little life I am carrying inside of me. We had tried for a while to conceive and when I found out I was pregnant it truly was one of the happiest days of my life.

What has been the most challenging part about being pregnant?

I had terrible morning sickness until about 20 weeks. Now that I am in my third trimester and almost to the end I thought I was in the clear, but I was wrong. It has come back again and I am 35 weeks along and counting.

Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl?

We are having a boy! I thought I was a boy from the very beginning. My fiancĂ©, on the other hand, wasn’t too convinced. Call it mother’ intuition, but I was right and we are so excited to meet him!

Did you have a baby shower?

Yes, we had our shower. Our theme was BabyQ, kind of a casual cookout theme. It was coed and so nice to see all of our friends and family before the baby gets here.

How was your experience working with Andrea?

The experience was great! She was so easy going and made us both feel comfortable. Especially Peter, as he is not much of a picture person. The photos turned out beautiful and we could not be happier with them!
