Oooh Chase, you are one handsome little man!!  I am so blessed to have been able to snuggle you and capture such beautiful memories for your family!

Was Chase named after anyone?  

His middle name is the same as his dad’s middle name.

 

Did you decorate a nursery?  

We went gender neutral for our theme.  Our colors are grey with pops of mint green.  We also have an elephant theme.

 

What has been the best part about being new parents?  

The best part about being new parents was finally getting to meet Chase and being able to bond with him and learn his personality.  He is changing and growing so fast.  We are trying to make the most of our time with him as we know he will be all grown up in no time!

 

What has been the most challenging part about being new parents?  

The most challenging part has been adjusting to less sleep, but we have been working together to both try to fit in a few naps and get as much as possible!  It is all definitely worth it!

How have your pets adjusts to the new baby?  

Our dog, Tess, has adjusted pretty well!  She is very protective over him, guarding his bassinet and giving him lots of kisses!

Who does Chase look like the most?  

We think he looks like a combination of both of us as babies, but he definitely has more hair than we did!  We are excited to see how he changes and if he looks more like one of us more.

Did you know you were having a boy or a girl before delivery day?  

Yes, we knew we were having a boy.  We couldn’t wait until deliver day to find out!

 

Who was the first person to change a poopy diaper?  

Mom was the first to change a poopy diaper, but dad was the first to get peed on!

What is your favorite memory from the first week or two of having a newborn?  

One of our favorite memories was getting to meet Chase and bringing him home and having all of our friends and family meet him too! We would also say that our newborn session was another one of our favorites as we were able to interact with him and get such great photos that we are able to look back on!

What did you love most about your newborn session?  

We loved how comfortable Chase seemed during the session and being able to watch all of the fun poses and props Andrea used. After the session, we could not wait to get the photos back! I followed Andrea Ryerson Photography on Facebook right away so I could see them as soon as she posted our sneak peak!

 

What do you hope to do with all of your beautiful newborn photos?  

We are going to get many of the images printed to fill our home & Chase’s nursery. We also plan to get the digital images so we have them to look back on in the future and to be able to share with family and friends!

 

What would you tell new mom’s who are unsure if they want to have newborn photos done?  

We are SO happy that we had newborn photos done with Andrea. The photos are exactly what we were looking for and we now have such great photos to look back on and to fill our home with of when Chase was a newborn. We are especially excited that we were able to get photos of us as a new family, they turned out so well! Totally worth the money!!
