Family Christmas Photos | Waukesha Photographer

Baking cookies the Sunday before Christmas.  Church on Christmas Eve.  Putting out milk and cookies for Santa.  They are all tradition.

So it taking Christmas card photos.  And I, for one, love them!

Seriously, how much better are Christmas cards when they have happy smiling faces on them.  I love to collect my Christmas cards from year to year and watch the family photos change.  They start as two happy newlyweds, maybe with a  little puppy or two and then slowly change from a growing belly, to a growing baby.  And then another one.  And maybe even another one after that.

It’s this passage of time, the keepsake of the Christmas photo, that makes this tradition so special.  And I love playing a teeny tiny part in that by being able to welcome so many families into the studio around the holidays to capture these moments for them.

I was luckily enough to photograph this little one as a newborn.  I love watching these babies grow and change and being tiny little people!
