Ahh!! I am so excited to introduce you all to Chloe Elizabeth!! She is just the sweetest little thing and looks just like her big sister!!
Doesn’t she just make you want to snuggle?? I can’t even handle the cuteness!!
I asked her momma some questions about her namesake, her nursery, and how the first few days at home with miss Chloe went. Keep reading to check out more adorable little baby photos and learn a little more about this sweet little one!
Was your baby named after anyone?
Yes! Chloe’s middle name (Elizabeth) comes from Mallory’s best friend who survived a horrific motorcycle accident in August. She is also Chloe’s godmother.
How did you decorate your nursery?
We kept our nursery gender neutral until after her arrival. It is gray, cream, and now has light pink accents. There are geometrical shapes throughout the room and the succulent plants as well. Her dresser is refinished. It was built by her great-great grandfather.
Who does Chloe look the most like?
Some say she looks just like mommy, but there are times when she looks exactly like her big sister (note from Andrea: I completely agree!)
Did you know if you were having a boy or a girl before delivery?
Nope! We chose to keep it a surprise.
What has been the best part about being new parents?
Being able to enjoy all of those precious firsts again! Watching her different faces, smiles, and of course all of the baby snuggles.
How has big sister Clara adjusted to having a new baby around?
Clara wasn’t sure about Chloe at first, but as time went by, she has become very interested in what Chloe is doing and is very attentive to her needs. She likes to help her and hold her whenever possible.
What is your favorite memory from the first week or two of having a newborn?
My favorite memory is probably the moment big sister Clara first came to visit us in the hospital. Seeing her reaction to her baby sister was such a special moment and we will cherish it forever.
What did you love post about your newborn session?
We really loved the way Andrea makes you feel right at home and so comfortable from the moment you walk into her studio all the way through the session. She has such a talent in what she does, and her photos capture that.
Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph both of your beautiful little girls!! It has truly been my honor!
