Maternity sessions are typically done between 28 and 34 weeks. You want to feel good and feel like you can move easily, but you also want to be nicely pregnant. You know better than anyone how you are feeling, so I will always take your lead for when you want to do your maternity photos.
Maternity photos can be done almost anywhere! There are so many beautiful locations in Waukesha County for your photos. I will often do maternity sessions in my studio as well as in your home. The choice is yours! We can chat about what you would like your photos to look like and from their we can find the perfect location!
I always suggest booking your maternity session at the start of your second trimester. It feels great to get a date on the calendar and off your to-do list. It also ensures you have plenty of dates to choose from for your session. If you are past this point in your pregnancy, don't worry! We will still be able to find time for your session.
