Hearing the news that Sutton was born was so exciting! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this sweet little baby! It seriously makes me so excited every time someone asks me to take their newborn photos. Especially when I have done photos for them before. It’s like a big gushy love note wrapped up in a hug.
Sutton was an amazing baby to work with. Not only did we get some beautiful sleepy tucked in photos, we got to see those big beautiful eyes too!
I also got to spend a lot of time with big brother Huxley! He is such a doll! He loves super hero’s and fire firefighters (one in the same, right?). When we were giving baby sister Sutton some time to eat and snuggle, Huxley took me to “Spooky Town”, which is stairway at the very end of my hallway. When he wasn’t running me up and down the hallway, he was running his grandparents back and forth to Spooky Town. He even found some ghost poo! Don’t worry, the studio has been cleared and inspected from any lingering ghost poo.
Pretty in Purple
Sutton looked so sweet wrapped up in this soft lavender color with a beautiful dainty headband! She looks so snuggly and comfortable, like she could stay here all day.
Proud Parents
There is nothing more special than welcoming a brand new baby into the family. Everyone changes for the better when there is a new little bundle in the home!
All the faces
Sutton had so many different faces for the camera! A model right from the start. She was so fun to photograph with all of these different facial expressions!
Rich and Classic
Newborns are often photographed on pastel colors, but there is no reason you need to say away from bold colors. The right tones can really help the images pop and put all of the focus on your baby.
Rolls on Rolls
Sweet Sutton had so many roles on her tiny little body! She is simply the cutest!! I love baby rolls! I mean, really, who doesn’t?
Family of Four
Going from a family of three to a family of four can be daunting. But in just a matter of days, you won’t remember the days of it just being three of you. That second baby fits into your lives to perfectly, it’s hard to imagine life without her.
Super Hero Big Brother
Huxley is the best big brother. He will be the fierce protector of his sister, but I am sure he will also teach her all of the tricks and tricks he knows!

Pastel Love
Even when using bold colors in your session, you can continue to incorporate pastel colors as well. These soft pastel purples and blues perfectly compliment the bolder choices as well as the neutrals used in Suttons newborn session.
Sweet and Cozy
No matter the colors, Sutton looks adorably sweet and cozy all wrapped up! I love how the different colors bring out different tones in her eyes! She is such a beautiful girl!
I can’t wait to watch this little sweetie grow up and see the beautiful little girl she will become. I am so excited to see the bond between Huxley and Sutton become even stronger and look forward to hearing all of the stories of the little stunts they pull together!
