Baby Thea | Oconomowoc Newborn Photographer|Andrea Ryerson Photographer

Newborn sessions are always special. It is such a short period of time and it goes by way too fast (even if it seems like an eternity when you are in the thick of it) But, I have to say, it is even more special when I have done multiple sessions for a family before. This is one of those families. From being pregnant with their first baby, all the important milestones, extended family sessions on both sides of their family, and now their newest little love. I’ve pretty much inserted myself into their family and an honorary aunt. LOL!

Do you remember her winter maternity session? You can find that on the blog here! it was a gorgeous snowy winter day (and you can’t even tell how cold it was in these photos! They were troopers!)

Best Big Brother

We can’t talk about baby Thea without first talking about her big brother! I am 100% convinced that he is smarter than I am. He is so well spoken and seems much older than he actually is. He was also so sweet and tender with Thea. It was such a beautiful thing to see!

Soft Pinks

I love the soft pink color palette we used for a lot of Thea’s photos. It was such a beautiful, soft, feminine color to use for her photos

Treasured Memories

I think capturing family photos during newborn sessions is one of the best parts of the entire session. I know it can be hard to coordinate when your are tired and exhausted adding another baby to your family, but they are so treasured in years to come!

Sweet Dreams

I always try to have babies sleeping for their newborn sessions. It makes it more safe for them to be posed and gives us the option for more variety during their session. Thea has the cutest little sleepy faces too!

Mom & Dad

In addition to family photos, mom and dad photos are equally important! And I always think little babies look even tinier when they are snuggled up in mom and dad’s arms.

It was such a pleasure to capture these photos for such a wonderful family! I can’t wait to watch baby Thea grow! If you’d like some details about booking your own newborn session, let me know!
