How can you go wrong with a cookie monster cake smash and two adorably handsome little boys?  Well, honestly, you can’t!

 

It is always a bitter sweet day when my first year clients turn one.  And it always amazes me how quickly it seems to happen!  Jett here is no exception!

I had the chance to ask his momma some questions about his first year and his cookie monster cake smash session.

So Lynsey, what has been the best part about being a mom this past year?

It has been so fun to be there to watch all of his milestones.  Watching him grow and explore the world around him has been amazing!

What baby items did you use the most over the past year?

We used the jumper and high chair the most.

What has been the hardest part about being a mom this past year?

Jett has had a lot of doctor appointments and hospital stays.  Those are tough.

What was your biggest struggle when planning your one year session?

Finding the perfect outfit is always hard!

Did Jett attack the cake?  Touch it once and freak out?

Jett was hesitant at first, but eventually he made his way into it.  I thought he would have been a bit more excited for it.

What was your favorite part about your one year session?

My favorite part was watching him do his cheesy smile and putting on a show for the camera.

What are you hoping to do with all of your photos from your one year session?

We will make a photo collage for some wall decor.

What are you most looking forward to this  next year?

We are looking forward to the obstacles he is strong enough to overcome!

If someone asked you about booking a one year session, what would you tell them?

Have fun with it!  Don’t stress over the small stuff like outfits or decorations.  Just enjoy your little ones!
