It was such a joy to meet this sweet little girl. Emerly is one of the sweetest little girls to come in the studio. She might be a year old now (I am a tad behind on blogging – as always), but I still wanted to be sure to share her newborn session!
Emerly had all of the faces for her session too! She was sleepy, but wasn’t quite ready to close here eyes yet. That’s okay sweet girl, I love the big yawns in your session!
Mom & Baby
I just adore these mom and baby photos! Mom wanted to be sure to use her veil in some of the photos, and I think we found some super fun, unique ways to use her veil in some of the photos, don’t you?
Special Touches
We also used mom’s veil to add special touches to other photos in the session, like this one. Emerly looks so sweet tucked into this blanket surrounded by the delicate fabric of the veil.
Soft and Feminine
Pink is definitely Emerly’s color! She looked so stunning in this soft pink color. Blush and cream is such a classic combination for little girls.
Lovely Locks
What gorgeous hair on this little one! Not all babies have a full head of hair when they are born, but this cutie sure did! It was hard to put a bonnet over that gorgeous hair, but I couldn’t help myself! She looks simply adorable whether she is in a bonnet, a headband, or nothing at al!
Tiny Details
Of course, we also captured the tiny baby details! What is your favorite? Toes? Eye lashes? Noses? There are so many tiny parts to love!
Emerly is one of the sweetest little ones! I am sure this has been a year full of amazing firsts, and I am so happy I was able to capture the beginning of this little girls amazing story!
I absolutely love newborn photography! Being able to snuggle these sweet little ones in their early days, when everything is so fresh and new is such an honor. I know you don’t trust just anyone with your babies, and the fact that you trust me with yours is something I don’t take lightly!
