I was so excited to be able to capture this beautiful winter engagement session in Oconomowoc for this couple! We really had to work for it too! Christie and Josh wanted the perfect winter wonderland for their engagement pictures, complete with snow clinging to the trees and icicles (is that really how you spell that word? It looks a little strange!) hanging from the buildings. A few days before our first scheduled session, we got a beautiful 8 inches of snow! It was going to be the perfect backdrop for our photos. Mother nature decided to disagree, however. She blessed us with rain on the day of our session, melting all of the snow and icicles. So, we rescheduled for the next week. The morning of our rescheduled session my oldest daughter was running a fever, which means I couldn’t take her to the sitter. So, we had to cancel again.
All of these cancellations turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Right before this weekends session, we got another beautiful snowfall. It was fairly warm outside and the sunlight was beautiful! We lucked out and had the most amazing weather for this engagement session. I had such a blast with Christie and Josh and I can not wait to photograph their wedding in the summer of 2014!
Congratulations!!! You guys look great!!!
