You made it through the first year. The not-sleeping stage. The sleep regression stage. The nap-fighting stage. The not-sleeping-becuase-of-teething stage. Now that I think about it – why do so many milestones in the first year revolve around a lack of sleep?

Anyways, along with that lack of sleep came the most joy you could probably imagine! And as that first year milestone rolls around, you get to plan how you are going to celebrate it. And, in my humble opinion, the best way to do that is with cake!

It is so fun to watch these babies dive into their cakes (or timidly stick in a finger) and explore something brand new.

You can surely plan on a good nap after your little one was all sugared up. For you or for baby? That is to be determined. But, I can tell you these fast paced sessions are sure to wipe anyone out! (In the best of ways!)
