I have loved photographing this family so many times this past year! Troy and Karina are wonderful people and have created the most perfect little boy, Ethan!
At the end of 2019, I met this wonderful couple to photograph their maternity session. It was a beautiful winter day -cool, but not too cold.

Throughout the year, I was lucky enough to photograph his newborn photos, 6 month photos and fall photos.
I swear, he just got cuter with every session! That little grin just gets me!
Celebrating the first year

Of course, I always love photographing babies with their parents. Even if you don’t feel like you want to be in front of the camera right now, you will love looking back at these photos. I swear, all you are going to see is the love you have for your not-so-tiny little baby. You will be so grateful to have these photos
Of course, this mama looks absolutely beautiful! You can see all of the love she has for her little man.
Dad’s too!
Dad is such a great caretaker for his family. Just being around him you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his family and wants what is best for each of them. He is such a great guy to talk to as well! Anyone who has meet him is sure to agree!
King of the castle
This black and gold cake smash was the perfect way to celebrate this New Years baby! The cake was amazing and really accented the entire set up.

Natural Tones
I love using these natural, classic tones in my photos. Both the light and dark wood textures add a lot of dimension to your photos. Mom and dad choose the perfect mix of handsome young boy and wild and one outfits to compliment Ethan’s photoshoot.
Let them go crazy
My favorite thing about cake smash sessions is letting the little one’s go crazy and seeing what they do with their cake. Some of them break it apart into little pieces, some pound in it with two hands and others are super dainty and just pick at the little cake pieces.
You can see that Ethan clearly enjoyed his cake!
If it’s special to you….
I love incorporating things that are special to you in your session. This llama made an appearance at Ethan’s newborn session. He was adorably (and very safely) sleeping on the back of the llama. Now you can see how big he has truly grown in the last year!
First year gone by
I can’t believe another year has come and gone. This little boy is about to find out everything year two has to offer! I can’t wait to watch him explore the word and take on new challenges!
